According to reports from citizens who have resided in Huntsville for many decades Huntsville was considered the “Athens of Texas” and the “Mount Vernon of Texas” because of its great heritage and great beauty.
A new web site has been launched at WWW.HUNTSVILLEBEAUTIFUL.ORG. Visitors will learn a little about what is left in Huntsville which is still beautiful in spite of the decades long battle to destroy the beauty of Huntsville.
